Angela Mark has provided wardrobe consultation and the custom design and manufacture of clothing to meet her clients' specific needs for over 25 years. She specializes in timeless, classic designs for business and casual wear, as well as for special occasions.
Angela Mark studied Fashion Design at Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto. In 1987, she established Angela Mark Fashion Designs in a second floor studio on in Peterborough. Through a succession of expansions, Angela now designs and manufactures from her studio on King Street in Peterborough. She opened her first Toronto studio on Bay Street, in the heart of the financial district. She currently works out of the Toronto Board of Trade Office in First Canadian Place.
Angela's client base stretches from Vancouver to Halifax, and from San Francisco to Boston. Angela Mark designed garments have graced CD covers; appeared on performers at the Juno and Country Music Awards; been worn to a birthday dinner for former U.S. President Bill Clinton, and to weddings and anniversaries around the globe - England, Scotland, Bahamas, Milan, Egypt, Alaska and New York. Angela also has had the privilege of designing the Wardrobe for the evening news Anchor woman Linda Farr on CHEX TV, the local CBC affiliate.
Angela is a skilled presenter who has conducted seminars and workshops for groups ranging from the Canadian Association of Provincial Court Judges and the Canadian Management Centre, to small community groups. As well, Angela has hosted her own Television Segment "This...is Fashion" which aired weekly on CHEX Television.
In 1991, Angela was recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year, by the Federal Business Development Bank, for her achievements as a young, innovative business person. She is a member of the Toronto Board of Trade and the Canadian Apparel Federation.
